How peaceful in this pavilion
as the pendulum is free to swing,
I wish to guard these regulated movements
as you oscillate in free time.
I wish to savour your liberty of actions
your power of self-determination
I need to imprison and restrain this time,
to mend this clock of mine.

Wonderful Susie, And I think I picked up on your subtle message…
At first the poem seemed enigmatic or ambiguous, but knowing you, and Hamada, it became very profound. Well thats the way I saw it (perhaps I was wrong!!) You are a master (or Mistress ?)of expressing despair and natures injustice through beautiful words and prose, making your point still sharper. I hope this makes sense.

Thank you so much for taking the time to comment on this ‘little’ poem. You were indeed ‘spot on’ with your remarks about my subtle message. Sometimes of course my poems will not be understood, but still,I have to get my thoughts out. My way of coping perhaps? (and please Ken, start your lovely writing again) My sincere wishes to you.
Wonderful and profound as usual.
Thank You Dear Judy. How kind of you to take the time to comment on this ‘little’ poem X
