Â
See there the changing of the light,
its fervency to bring in sight
as golden heads in breeze do blow
as struggle through the earth they grow.
Â
Eyes do see blue circle bright
the Midas touch of lighter nights,
spins the green of breezy branches
this vision of Spring so fast advances.
Â
Life passes quickly in easier haze,
as painful days begin to fade…
Unfurled this heart this mist does clear,
It looks to be a splendid year…
Â
Beautiful, as usual…
I think you were in the western US recently.
I live in Vancouver, Washington, just across the river from Portland, Or……
If you were here I hope you enjoyed your visit..
Yes indeed Susan I was in California recently and I so enjoyed my visit there – covering a huge number of miles in a rather short time! It was a wonderful road trip and a super break and I hope I can return one day to the places I really loved, to study some more. I hope everything is OK and that life is treating you well? How very kind you are with your comments – I hope “See There ” is a poem of hope. All very best wishes to you from a country village in Middle England X
Lovely, Susie, and perfect for Spring indeed!
Thanks Elizabeth – As I sit at my desk overlooking my garden I can see the new shoots arriving, slowly yes but so nicely here. Enjoy your Spring dear lady x
